Off topic though, just to inform you that Google websites have updated their favicons. The new Google icon looks a bit futuristic, but doesn't have that gorgeous appearance of the previous favicon as the new one is a simple g letter. Blogger also has got a new green colour favicon with the letters, hp (strange!) which is displayed only in feed readers. GMail's new favicon - is still the old one, and still in beta.

It seems that Google has now started to redirect you to mobile version of some of their pages when surfing through Opera Mini. Eg: Main Google search engine, iGoogle etc. Clicking on the Classic link at iGoogle only redirects you to the main page. So far this is less bothering, but if Google continues this into GMail etc. too (like Yahoo! did), of course this will distract many Opera Mini users. Of course, Google might be in favor to redirect Opera Mini users to their mobilized version too, because this will make their Java applications for mobiles more popular. Despite you use Mobile View or Desktop View, you are always sent to mobilized pages sometimes.
Yahoo oneConnect (tm) will be coming to your phone soon. With the ability to fulfill most of your web connectivity needs like social networking with text messages etc. too. Now that is a revolution. But why is Google still waiting to make a response? It is no doubt that many users use Google than Yahoo (folks like me even search on oneConnect over at Google), so many users will benefit from a Google mobile app and I feel that Google should not stick only with Android.
